SuperClubs dominates Jamaica culinary competition

The SuperClubs Team won close to 90 per cent of the medals awarded at the competition. In the beverage section they were the most dominant, winning 100 per cent of the major awards presented, including a record haul of eight gold medals!

Claudia Daley of Super Trelawny Beach became the first female to win the coveted bartender of the show award.

In the Chef Open category, SuperClubs copped 70 per cent of the awards given in one of their compelling performances to date. Thomas Swan was named Chef Of The Show in the hot foods category and Clifton Wright of SuperClubs Grand Lido was judged Pastry Chef.

In the team category, SuperClubs also came out on top with Grand Lido winning the best establishment award.

“As SuperClubs looks towards expanding in the Global market, it’s good to reiterate our dominance in the food and beverage arena as excellence in cuisine is one of the hallmarks on which super-inclusive vacations offered by our properties are built.

“Our culinary and bar staffs are the best in the team, Trelawny Beach and Breezes Montego Bay underscores that fact. Once again the team has done what they do best and that is to be the best,” said an ecstatic Joe Issa following the team’s impressive performance.
