Word around the Holy Cross campus is that this year’s graduating seniors are going to have the best reunions on record.
Joe Issa, class valedictorian comes from Jamaica, where his family has had long involvement in the hotel and tourism business. One place the family has substantial interest in is Hedonism II, an all-inclusive resort, along with some other hostelries.
Word has it that Issa will announce in his valedictory address that he expects to see them down on the sands for reunions.
The senior doesn’t play steel drums, but he’s a local expert on reggae, which is native to his island. He was reggae DJ on the campus radio station.
