The occasion was a prize-winning trip sponsored by SuperClubs and MTV, to the famed resort for Billeaur, who saw the trip as a dream come true. Billeaur, a former surfer, was paralyzed from waist down in a surfing accident three years ago. Since the accident Billeaur has been championing the cause of research into spinal cord injuries.
