Walkerswood Caribbean Foods Limited was earlier this year honoured for its outstanding contribution to the economic development of St. Ann.
Woodrow ‘Woody” Mitchell JP, managing director of Walkerswood Caribbean Food Limited was photographed as he accepted the “Corporate Award” on behalf of his company from Joe Issa, then president of the St. Ann Chamber of Commerce. Occasion was the Chamber’s Annual Banquet which was held at the Renaissance Jamaica Grande hotel. Walkerswood’s flagship product, its Jerk Seasoning produced from a secret recipe is among the island’s unique contribution to international cuisine.
